The three star hotel Esplanade is part of the Jessenius-Esplanade-Mozart Hotel group, located at the heart of the town on the banks of the River Teplá. As well as being just 100 meters from the springs, the hotel is also in close proximity to the three star Jessenius spa complex. The historic hotel, built in the 18th century, was completely refurbished in 2002.
Infrastructure
The hotel has a 7x4m pool. Use of the pool is available to guests undertaking treatment programs, otherwise, it is charged at €6 Euro/hour. The hotel boasts 2 restaurants, the A la Carte restaurant with a capacity of 56 people, and a dining hall with a capacity of 100 people, situated in the main Jessenius complex and open from 9am-9pm. All amenities are located in the main Jessenius complex which boasts its own spa facility where spring mineral water is used in all treatments. There is also a currency exchange, billiards, ten pin bowling, a piano, free safe deposit box, and car parking for two cars per guest for €11.50 Euro/day.
Accommodation
The hotel comprises a total of 43 rooms. There are 2 singles, and 41 double rooms, 19 of which look onto the river. In almost all of the rooms it is possible to have twin beds. Half of the rooms are non-smoking. All rooms come complete with bathroom with bathtub (in 1/3 of rooms) or shower (in 2/3 of rooms) as well as a separate powder room, direct dial telephone, refrigerator, satellite television, and free safe deposit box. Hairdryers are available free of charge from reception. Additional beds are available, however cots can only be provided in Luxe rooms. All Esplanade rooms are furnished in a modern style. daily once weekly thrice weekly 2pm (early check-in for no extra charge is possible but subject to room availability). 12pm (late check-out is possible for an additional charge of €25 euro.

Dining
All meals are served in the Jessenius spa restaurant, which accommodates 70 people. Esplanade II hotel guests may take advantage of the Jessenius facilities. The hotel restaurant is open all day and serves a wide assortment of food, including classic dishes, and diet and vegetarian meals. In summer guests can enjoy the terrace views of the colonnade over a sumptuous dessert and coffee, and sit back and relax after a long day of rigorous treatments. 7am-10am breakfast consists of cheese and meat cold cuts, a selection of oatmeal, hot and cold snacks, toast, dairy and egg dishes, home baked cakes and pastries, salads, coffee and a wide assortment of tea, milk, water and juices. 12pm-2pm. Menu with a choice of 8 dishes as well as a buffet serving various salads. 5:30pm-7:30pm Menu with a choice of 8 dishes as well as a buffet serving various salads.
Spa treatment
Services offered at the spa include medical consultations, massages, electro therapy, magnetotherapy, and use of the spa facilities. Treatment packages comprise 2 daily procedures. Children 12 and above are also eligible for treatment. The hotel does not have its own medical center, so all treatment and medical examinations are carried out at the Jessenius hotel, just 50 meters away. One of the hotel`s main advantages is its proximity to the colonnade, allowing guests to easily adhere to the mineral water treatment regime, the principal course of treatment at Karlovy Vary. All procedures are carried out using natural mineral water. The spa specialises in the treatment of diabetics. Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, Saturday 7am-12pm. On Sundays the spa is closed.
