The Richmond Park Hotel is located in the peaceful surrounds of an English-style park in Karlovy Vary, situated on the banks of the River Teplá. The five-floor hotel has a history that dates back over 160 years. The typical neoclassical style building at one point housed the spa town`s cafe Schönbrunn, which dates back to the 1930s. The verdant woods and park that surround the hotel offer guests an ideal environment for relaxation and walking. These activities are recommended as an important part of the health spa treatment program with the mineral springs a mere 15 minute walk away. In addition, the decadent Park Hotel provides a perfect setting for family holidays, as well as for business trips, with packages individually tailored to suit the needs of each individual guest.
Infrastructure
The hotel boasts a 6x12.5m indoor pool open daily from 8am until 12pm and between 2pm and 9pm. There is a sauna that accommodates up to 4 people, a steam room and a Jacuzzi, which all hotel guests have free access to. The hotel offers a wealth of options including the hotel restaurant, a bar, a piano bar, a café, a terrace, and the Setlik lounge. Free billiards, business center, currency exchange, ticket reservation desk, car parking facility holding up to 40 vehicles charged at €4 euro/day, laundry service, hairdresser, beauty salon, manicure/pedicure, souvenir store, bicycle rental, secretarial service, and free internet.
Accommodation
The hotel has 121 rooms in standard and standard plus categories, and apartments in three categories, some with terrace or balcony. All rooms are fitted with either a bathtub or shower; (in rooms of higher grades bathrooms also come fitted with a bidet), telephone, satellite television, minibar, safe deposit box, hairdryer and bathrobes, and free internet access. Additional beds and baby cots are available on request. Pet accommodation is charged at a rate of €10 euro/day. The rooms afford either woodland or park garden views. Daily. 3 times weekly. Dining
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the restaurant, which accommodates up to 120 people. Special dietary and vegetarian menus are available. The cafe and summer terrace is open from 10am until 10pm and accommodates up to 40 people, while the summer restaurant has a capacity of 60. 7:30am-10am (buffet). 12pm-1:30pm (set menu with a choice of 6 dishes). 6pm-7:30pm (set menu with a choice of 6 dishes).
Treatment
Medical spa treatments take place in the spa center. Treatment program timetable: Monday-Saturday from 7am-3:30pm. Closed on Sundays.
