The hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from the springs. The Bristol Hotel Group is a self-contained health spa complex in Karlovy Vary. All of the hotels` spa facilities are linked by heated underground passageways to ensure maximum comfort for guests, which provide easy and convenient access to all amenities offered by the spa group. The Bristol Group Hotel complex lies in its own nature park in the center of the resort, close to the source of the mineral springs. The prestigious four star Bristol Palace spa complex forms part of the Bristol Group Hotel complex. The hotel, built in 1890 in the classical architectural style, underwent restoration in 1998. Consequently, the hotel extended its range of services and facilities on offer at the complex.
Infrastructure
The hotel’s Relax center boasts a 21x8m, 1.5m deep free-form pool, separate male and female saunas as well as separate Turkish saunas, solarium, fitness center, and sun terrace. Treatment programs take place Monday-Friday from 8am-12pm. From 1pm-10pm guests have free access to the pool facilities. Use of the fitness center is also free for hotel guests. The vertical solarium is charged at €4/minute. In the Bristol Group complex there are 2 restaurants: one in the Bristol and one in the Bristol Palace, with a capacity of 160 and 140 people respectively. Both restaurants are open from 7:30am-8:30pm. The cafe and bar are open from 10am-10pm, where cocktail parties and live music evenings are often held. Dining
Meals in the Bristol Palace restaurant are designed in accordance with doctors` recommendations. Meal choices are monitored by nurses who also give consultations and are in regular daily contact with patients. All meals are prepared using ecologically friendly produce, with ingredient quality monitored daily by medical staff. The restaurant has both a kid`s menu and kids` chairs and highchairs. 7:30am-10:30am. Buffet consisting of meat and cheese cold cuts, assortment of porridges, hot and cold snacks, toast, yogurt, dairy and egg dishes, homebaked cakes and pastries, salads, a wide choice of tea, coffee, milk, water and various juices. 12:30pm-3pm. Choice of 3 soups and 8 entreés from the diet section, including fish and based dishes, salads, and fruit. 6:30pm-8:30pm. Choice of 8 dishes from each diet menu, including meat and fish based dishes, vegetarian dishes, a selection of salads, and fruit.
Treatment
All Bristol Group hotels use Karlovy Vary mineral water in spa treatments and other procedures. Each complex boasts a spa facility and doctor`s surgery. Nurses are on hand 24hrs a day. A week-long treatment program comprises 17 treatments, 2-3 take place Monday-Friday and 1-2 are on Saturdays. Treatment is available to children 2 years and above. Treatments are carried out Monday - Saturday from 7:30am-5pm. The spa complex is closed on Sundays.
