Location: Castle Baths Balneological Clinic is  situated in the heart of the Karlovy Vary spa area, in the near vicinity of Market Colonnade and Thermal Spring Colonnade. This spa Center, one of the most beautiful in Europe, indeed, offers wide range of spa and relaxation programs.

General information: The fundamental credo of the Castle Spa is returning to traditional Carlsbad spa treatment. Providing comfort, atmosphere, and individual care - everything the visitors of the spa in Karlovy Vary had been used to in the era of the “Golden Age”. Everyone can find this in a more than abundant extent in Karlovy Vary, especially owing to the Castle Spa. While preserving all the essential architectonic elements, a radical reconstruction of all the premises of the Castle Colonnade was executed in 2000 and 2001, generously converting the structure into a comprehensive curative facility called the Castle Spa.

Castle Baths returns to the well-established tradition of Carlsbad spa treatment in a central balneologic facility, as it truly is the only place, where clients are provided with comprehensive care, including the maximum exploitation of the original Carlsbad curative thermal mineral water. 

Special atmosphere is created by a combination of architectural style “Moderne”, and natural landscape & rocky surfaces. Since the beginning, the actual as well as imaginary centre of the complex has been the relief of the face of the "Spirit of the Springs" - the ruler and the protector of all Carlsbad springs. The fact that this mysterious ruler and protector of the Carlsbad springs was resurrected after many years in 2001 certainly is good news not only for the spa guests, who will undergo treatment at the Castle Spa, but also for all the visitors of Karlovy Vary.The Castle Spa uses its own two springs - the Upper and Lower Castle Spring 

The most precious gem of the Castle Spa is its pool with thermal mineral water, the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic  The unique character of treatment, in fact, is that  every client undergoes medical check (or primary and final check by a doctor), as well as getting all necessary treatments prescribed for the day during only 3 hours, without ever leaving the resort. Each customer is given a special package incl. slippers and bathrobe and electronic key for free access to various treatment rooms. The cutting-edge technologies are used for treatment along with the newest equipment. Relaxation in the curative pool of mineral water is granted as a bonus – besides other treatment services (without additional fee).

Note
The entrance to Castle Spa is only permitted to children older than 12 years. Exception is the family programme: one child older than 3 years may access only if accompanied by 2 adults. For security reasons pregnant women have no access to the Spa.
