Spa complex right at the heart of the resort, close to the Dvorak Gardens, and just 3 minutes walk from the curative springs. The four star Thermal Spa Complex opened in 1977, and in 2007-2008 underwent full refurbishment.
Facilities
The complex boasts a 50x17m open-air (30% mineral water/70% normal water) pool, with breathtaking panoramic views, and a sun terrace. Since January 1st 2010, clients have been able to take advantage of the pool facilities free of charge. Use of the sauna (which holds up to 10 people) is charged at €6 euro/2 hours, and use of gym equipment and facilities is charged at €4 euro/90 minutes. There are 3 restaurants, accommodating 266, 232, and 80 people respectively. The lobby-bar can accommodate up to 60 people. There is also a nightclub. Hairdresser, manicure/pedicure, currency exchange, boutiques, beauty salon, movie theater, concert hall, car parking (€10 euro/day), internet point €1.50 euro/30 minutes. There are 3 conference rooms: the Large Conference Room for 1100 people, the Small Conference Room for up to 243 people, and the Congress Room for up to 300 people. The Red Room accommodates anywhere from 30-100 people. All conference rooms are complete with audiovisual and technical equipment.
Accommodation
The hotel has 273 rooms in total. 288 are Standard rooms, 22 are executive rooms, and 13 are apartments. All rooms are fitted with bathroom, separate powder room, (N.B. Bathrobes are only supplied for free in Executive rooms. In all other rooms, they may be hired for a fixed rate of €40 and a €6 charge on top of that). All bathrooms except those on floors 8-11 have bidets installed. All rooms come with direct dial telephone, refrigerator, satellite television, radio, safe deposit box, hairdryer, and air conditioning. Pets are permitted and charged at a supplementary €6/day. Cots are free for one week stays. There is a supplementary charge of around €19 for cots used during stays longer than one week. Daily. Twice weekly. Daily. 2pm. 12pm. Until 4pm and from 10am respectively. This service is free to all guests in Executive rooms. All other rooms can check-out up until 7pm depending on room availability for a charge of 50% of the room cost.

Dining
All meals are served in the hotel restaurant. 7am-10am (buffet). 12am-3pm (buffet). 6pm-9pm (buffet, including special dietary dishes).
Treatment
The new hotel spa complex, which opened for business on June 22 2009, is located in the main hotel building and be accessed via 2 lifts. Hotel clients can take advantage of all facilities under one roof, in a 400m² complex. The complex boasts 7 carbon dioxide, pearl, massage, and whirlpool baths, Charcot’s shower, foot baths and a new gym facility. Thermal mineral water is used in all spa baths, a unique feature of the 4 star Hotel Thermal Spa, one of the most state-of-the-art spas in Karlovy Vary. All non water-based treatments take place in the spa. Guests undergo 3 treatments are daily, except on Sundays and public holidays. Monday - Friday from 7am-3pm, Saturday from 7am-12pm. Closed Sundays and on public holidays.
